As a child my grandmother loved to tell me about our family history. Unfortunately, my preteen self didn’t pay a whole lot of attention. At that time in my life, it just wasn’t interesting enough to me to pay attention lol. Now I wish i had taken an interest sooner but it has taught me not to take time for granted and to pay attention to the stories and document EVERYTHING.
Looking back, I try to remember as much as possible and build on that.
